The week ending 27 March saw equity markets rally, with listed infrastructure indices returning 7-9% across sectors. Utility stocks, in particular, were best positioned amongst the volatility, with revenue linked to regulation rather than economic activity. Consequently, RARE believes it is too early to make rotations back to cyclical infrastructure companies and will continue to maintain bias to defensive utility sectors.
